...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks: Grand River at Jackson...
.A large area of showers and thunderstorms has developed over
portions of the Upper Midwest. A frontal boundary draped over the
Great Lakes Region will be the main focus for thunderstorm
development through the next 24 hours. Multiple rounds of heavy rain
with localized rainfall totals in excess of 2 inches could cause
minor flooding to urban areas and roadways. Rises on streams and
rivers is also possible. Dry weather is forecast to move in behind
the front once the main system exits to the east by Wednesday
afternoon.The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24
hour precipitation. Note that localized areas may receive rainfall
that far exceeds forecast averages.
For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 9.0 feet at 9
AM Tuesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecasted
is 10.0 feet after midnight tonight. Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
