HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
905 AM EST SAT DEC 26 2015

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Sycamore Creek at Holt...
.High pressure will give way to developing rainfall through the day
today. Moisture will continue to stream into the area through the
weekend with a short-lived break in precipitation Sunday afternoon
into Sunday night. Additional precipitation is expected Monday in
the form of a wintry mix that may transition to rain. Precipitation
may be heavy at times with totals today through Tuesday that may
exceed one inch. The following forecast is based on observed and
forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Sycamore Creek At Holt... the latest stage was 4.4 feet at 8
AM Saturday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 6.5 feet tomorrow early afternoon.  Flood stage is 8.0 feet.  At
6.0 feet... Flooding begins in low lying areas along the creek and at
the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and Scott Woods Park..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
