HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 11.0 feet at
10 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecast is
12.3 feet tomorrow evening. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. At 13.0
feet... River is bankfull. River begins to flow into low lying
areas.

For the Grand River Near Comstock Park... the latest stage was 10.9
feet at 8 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The river has fallen
0.1 feet in the past 24 hours. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. At 11.0
feet... River is bankfull.

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 10.8 feet
at 11 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The river has been steady
at 10.8 feet in the past 24 hours. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Robinson Township... the latest stage was 11.9
feet at 8 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.0 feet this afternoon.  Flood stage is 13.3 feet.
At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull.

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.2
feet at 10 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.8 feet tomorrow morning. Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 5.0
feet at 11 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The river has been
steady around 5.0 feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 4.8
feet at 10 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The river has been
steady aroud 4.8 feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.

For the Kalamazoo River At Marshall... the latest stage was 5.5 feet
at 11 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.7 feet this afternoon. Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
