...Water levels forecast to rise along the Grand River at Ionia...

.Partial melting of a dense snowpack may cause the water levels on
the Grand River to rise over the next few days. Nuisance flooding
of low lying spots near the river at Ionia is possible, but
significant flooding is not expected.

For the Grand River At Ionia... the latest stage was 12.4 feet at 10
AM Thursday. No flooding is forecast. The river may rise to around
15.1 feet by Sunday morning. Bankfull stage is 13.5 feet. Flood
stage is 21.0 feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
