HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1139 AM EDT THU APR 7 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Lowell...Pere
Marquette River at Scottville...

.A couple of quick hitting systems will produce mainly snow on
Friday with about a quarter of an inch of precipitation.
Another system is expected Sunday. These systems will help keep
stages elevated into next week. The following forecast is based on
observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Lowell... no observed stage was available.  No
flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is 9.9 feet
Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
3.9 feet at 11 AM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast. Flood stage
is 5.5 feet.  At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
