HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1035 AM EST WED FEB 22 2017

...Water levels forecast to rise on the Maple River at Maple Rapids...

.A period of rain and thunderstorms is expected Thursday night into
Friday evening. Rainfall runoff may be great enough for the Maple
River to rise to bankfull and possibly exceed bankfull next week.
The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 48 hour
precipitation.

For the Maple River At Maple Rapids... the latest stage was 6.4 feet
at 10 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.0 feet Sunday morning. Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
Flood stage is 9.0 feet. At 7.0 feet... expect minor flooding in low
lying pastures, farmland, and wooded areas adjacent to the river.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
