The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Grand River At Portland... the latest stage was 8.5 feet at 9
PM Wednesday.   No flooding is forecast.  The river has fallen 0.5
feet in the past 24 hours. Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Ionia... the latest stage was 12.8 feet at 9
PM Wednesday.  No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecast
is 12.8 feet after midnight tonight.  Flood stage is 21.0
feet.

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
