Looking Glass River at Eagle...
Maple River at Maple Rapids...
.The combination of precipitation that fell Friday night...snowmelt
from above normal temperatures..and another round of precipitation
Sunday into Monday will produce significant rises on area rivers.
The following forecasts are based on observed and forecast 48 hour
For the Sycamore Creek At Holt... the latest stage was estimated to be
3.3 feet at 9 AM Saturday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.8 feet early Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
At 6.0 feet...flooding begins in low lying areas along the creek and at
the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and Scott Woods Park..
For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 3.7
feet at 9 AM Saturday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.0 feet Wednesday morning. Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
At 6.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of low lying wooded areas..
For the Maple River At Maple Rapids... the latest stage was 4.8 feet
at 9 AM Saturday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.7 feet Wednesday evening. Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
At 7.0 feet... the river is at bankfull. Expect minor flooding in low
lying pastures, farmland, and wooded areas adjacent to the river..
