A QUICK BURST OF HEAVY SNOW IS LIFTING NORTH AS OF 535 AM FROM
HOLLAND...COOPERSVILLE AND GRAND RAPIDS TOWARDS CENTRAL LOWER
MICHIGAN. WINDS...ARE SHIFTING THE ORIENTATION OF HEAVIER LAKE
EFFECT SNOW BANDS THIS MORNING WHICH WILL REPOSITION TOWARDS THE
LAKE MICHIGAN SHORE FROM GRAND HAVEN NORTHWARD THIS MORNING. AS
THIS TRANSITION OCCURS...A QUICK ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE IN AN HOUR OR TWO. THE SNOW WILL BE SHIFTING INTO
MUSKEGON...NEWAYGO... MASON AND LAKE COUNTIES AS WE HEAD THROUGH
800 AM.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING ON U.S. HIGHWAY 131 FROM NORTH OF GRAND
RAPIDS...M-37 NORTH OF WALKER...OF HIGHWAY 31 ON THE LAKESHORE
NORTH OF HOLLAND BE PREPARED FOR NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY FOR A TIME
IN HEAVY SNOW.

ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION IN THESE AREAS AND BE
PREPARED FOR WHITEOUTS ALONG WITH SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS.
