...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CALHOUN...KENT...
IONIA...BARRY...EATON AND MONTCALM COUNTIES...

At 834 AM EST, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Jenison to near Shelbyville to
Schoolcraft. Movement was east at 50 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Grand Rapids, Lansing, Ionia, Charlotte, Albion, Greenville,
Hastings, Marshall, Belding, Eaton Rapids, Portland, Lowell, Stanton,
Waverly, Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, East Grand Rapids, Grand Ledge
and Rockford.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
