...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL KALAMAZOO COUNTY...

At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Climax, or 7 miles west of Battle Creek, moving east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Climax around 630 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Augusta and Scotts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not take shelter under highway overpasses. If you
cannot safely drive away from the tornado, as a last resort, either
park your vehicle and stay put, or abandon your vehicle and lie down
in a low lying area and protect yourself from flying debris.
