THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST FRIDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * SNOW WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY INTO EARLY THIS
   AFTERNOON. AN ADDITIONAL 4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED BY
   FRIDAY MORNING WITH 8 OR MORE INCHES POSSIBLE IN WESTERN KENT
   COUNTY.

 * GUSTY WINDS WILL RESULT IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND
   LITTLE TO NO VISIBILITY AT TIMES.

 * WIND CHILLS AT OR BELOW ZERO WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT
   INTO THURSDAY.

 * HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS THROUGH TONIGHT.

 * TRAVEL ON HIGHWAY US-31 AND I-196 WILL BE HAZARDOUS THIS
   AFTERNOON INTO EARLY TONIGHT. TRAVEL ON ALL MAJOR HIGHWAYS WILL
   BE HAZARDOUS THURSDAY.

 * RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND ROAD CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY.

 * TIME TO FROSTBITE FROM EXPOSURE TO COLD THROUGH TONIGHT INTO
   THURSDAY IS ABOUT 30 MINUTES.

   AFTERNOON. AN ADDITIONAL 5 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED
   THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. LOCALIZED AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 12 INCHES ARE
