.A northwest swell is expected to reach the islands late this
afternoon, boosting surf heights along exposed shores to just
above High Surf Advisory threshold for those shores.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Surf building to 10 to 15 feet late this afternoon, then
  12 to 16 feet tonight, for north and west facing shores of
  Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai and for north facing shores of
  Maui.

* WHERE...Portions of Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau and Oahu.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
  will make swimming dangerous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t
go out.
