Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

An upper level disturbance will trigger showers and thunderstorms
to the area this afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could
be strong. Additional chances of showers and storms are anticipated
through the weekend in advance of a stalled frontal boundary
situated further inland. In addition, areas of sea fog are
anticipated at times, but moreso in the Gulf waters and extreme
southern bays. Winds will primarily be out of the east until the
front finally gets a southward push offshore late Sunday or
Sunday night. Moderate to occasionally strong northeast winds and
building seas are anticipated behind the front. Onshore flow
resumes late Tuesday.
