Survey Summary: An NWS survey confirmed that a short-lived EF1
tornado with maximum estimated winds of 100 mph impacted the Rock
Creek Subdivision in Trinity. Based on radar estimates and discussion
with residents of the area, we estimate that the tornado was on the
ground for 1-2 minutes, between approximately 7:35 and 7:36 PM CDT.
The tornado destroyed a home in the subdivision, and two of its
occupants sustained injuries. Widespread tree damage and damage
to vehicles was also observed along an approximate 500 yard long
and 200 yard wide path.
