...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN COWLEY COUNTY...
At 903 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grainola, or 9
miles southwest of Cedar Vale, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Arkansas City, Winfield, Dexter, Maple City, and Strother Field
Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
