...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Morgan,
northern Johnson, southeastern Hendricks and southern Marion Counties
through 645 PM EDT...

At 607 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mooresville, or 14 miles southwest of Indianapolis, moving east at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Indianapolis, Greenwood, Plainfield, Beech Grove, Mooresville,
Southport, Cumberland, Homecroft, and Camby.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 97 and 109.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 62 and 74.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 93 and 100.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central
Indiana.
