Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms may impact the burn site, mainly during the late afternoon and early evening hours today and again on Wednesday. Patchy to areas of fog are also expected around the burn site during the predawn and early morning hours on Wednesday and Thursday. Otherwise, light southerly transport winds around ignition time will veer to southwesterly during the mid afternoon hours today. Elevated mixing heights will result in fair to good daytime dispersion values today. Outside of potential thunderstorm activity, light south-southwesterly surface winds will shift to southeasterly before sunset as the Atlantic sea breeze boundary pushes across the burn site. Transport winds will shift to westerly on Wednesday, and elevated mixing heights will create good daytime dispersion values. The Atlantic sea breeze boundary will pass the burn site again before sunset on Wednesday evening, resulting in surface winds shifting to southeasterly outside of any thunderstorm activity that develops. .REST OF TODAY...
