The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Scurry County in western Texas...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 615 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
  Hobbs, or 21 miles northeast of Snyder, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Scurry County.
