...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN HARRISON...NORTHERN JEFFERSON...COLUMBIANA...CARROLL...
EAST CENTRAL TUSCARAWAS...SOUTH CENTRAL LAWRENCE AND HANCOCK
COUNTIES...

At 638 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles east of Minerva to 7 miles southwest of
Carrollton to near Dennison, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Trees snapped
         and uprooted. Power outages can be expected.

Locations impacted include...
East Liverpool, Uhrichsville, East Palestine, Wellsville, Cadiz,
Carrollton, Calcutta, Lisbon, Dennison, New Waterford, Big Beaver,
Augusta, New Beaver, Salineville, Hopedale, Newell, Scio, Jewett,
Bergholz, and Amsterdam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for east central
Ohio...western Pennsylvania...and northern West Virginia.

building.
