This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated snow showers will come to an end over higher terrain this
evening with little or no additional accumulation expected. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms with brief gusty winds will be possible
into the evening across the southeastern Plains of Colorado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A prolonged period of high fire danger is expected for Friday
through Sunday over portions of our plains. Please avoid activities
that could start a fire this weekend!

Heavy mountain snow is looking more likely from Sunday morning
through Tuesday. There is much more uncertainty for the lower
elevations including where the rain-snow line will set up.
Confidence is growing for portions of the lower elevations to get
periods of heavy snow between Monday and Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
