.DISCUSSION...
Near to slightly above average temperatures with marine layer low
clouds Friday. Cooler conditions with gusty winds in the
mountains and deserts, and periods of showers for areas in and
west of the mountains this weekend. High temperatures are expected
to be 10 to 15 degrees below average for inland valleys and 15 to
20 degrees below average for the mountains on Sunday. Gusty
southwest to west winds are expected on desert mountain slopes,
through passes, and into portions of the deserts Saturday
afternoon into Sunday evening. Peak gusts of 55 to 65 mph
expected. Periods of showers are expected overnight Saturday into
Sunday from the coast to the mountains. Best chance of wetting
rain is in the mountains. Dry and warmer for Monday through
Wednesday, but high temperatures will remain a few to around 5
degrees below average.
