...NOVEMBER VERY WET WITH NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES...

WHILE THE LAST WEEK OF NOVEMBER EXPERIENCED NEAR NORMAL TO ABOVE
NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION...THE SECOND AND
THIRD WEEKS OF THE MONTH WERE COOL AND GENERALLY WET. THIS WAS A
REVERSAL FROM A WARM AND DRY OCTOBER. DESPITE BEING VERY WET, ONLY A
TRACE OF SNOWFALL WAS RECORDED DURING THE ENTIRE MONTH.

THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE WAS 42.0 DEGREES, 0.6 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. THIS RANKED AS THE 37TH WARMEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD AT FORT
WAYNE. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE WAS 68 ON THE 5TH. THE COLDEST
TEMPERATURE OF 21 OCCURRED ON THE 11TH.

TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS 5.49 INCHES WHICH WAS 2.40
INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS RANKED AS THE 4TH WETTEST NOVEMBER ON
RECORD. MORE THAN HALF OF THE TOTAL MONTHLY PRECIPITATION FELL ON
JUST ONE DAY, THE 18TH WITH 2.96 INCHES BEING MEASURED. THIS BROKE
THE DAILY RAINFALL RECORD FOR THE 18TH AND ALSO SET A NEW SINGLE DAY
MONTHLY RAINFALL RECORD FOR NOVEMBER AT FORT WAYNE. THE PREVIOUS
SINGLE DAY NOVEMBER RAINFALL RECORD WAS 2.53 INCHES SET ON NOVEMBER
29TH, 2011. ALL OF THE MONTHLY PRECIPITATION FELL ON JUST 10 DAYS
THIS MONTH.

THERE WAS ONLY A TRACE OF SNOWFALL RECORDED IN NOVEMBER. SINCE A
TRACE IS CONSIDERED NON-MEASURABLE, THIS TIED WITH 22 OTHER YEARS IN
WHICH NO MEASURABLE SNOWFALL OCCURRED IN NOVEMBER.
