THE SECOND HALF OF THE MONTH...AS WARMER CONDITIONS SET IN...AND
TEMPERATURES REGULARLY HIT THE 50S AND 60S. THIS LEFT THE MONTH...ON
THE WHOLE...SLIGHTLY BELOW THE 30-YEAR AVERAGE.

RAINFALL MOSTLY CAME IN THE FIRST THREE DAYS OF THE MONTH...AND WAS
ONLY SPARSE AFTER THAT. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE WETTEST JANUARY IN
TWO YEARS...RAINFALL WAS STILL BELOW AVERAGE.

NO MEASURABLE SNOW FELL FOR THE 2ND JANUARY IN A ROW.
