.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Winds will continue to diminish today as high pressure settles over
the area. West and southwest winds should develop in advance of a
second front that is expected to arrive late Thursday. Look for
some rain to develop behind the front along with an increase of
northerly winds. Onshore flow resume by early Saturday and rapidly
increase as pressures fall across the Plains. Seas will build,
chances of fog, showers and storms will increase ahead of an upper
level disturbance that will push through the region Saturday
night. Precipitation will come to an end early Sunday and a weak
front will move into the waters.
