Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Gentle to moderate trade winds will persist through the rest of
the weekend, as high pressure remains far north of the islands.
As the high builds northeast of the area early next week, the
trades will strengthen to strong levels across portions of the
coastal waters.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-


.TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind
waves 3 to 5 feet. Mixed swell south 3 feet and northeast 3
feet...building to 4 feet late Sunday night. Isolated showers.
.MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4
to 9 feet. Swell northeast 4 feet. Isolated showers.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...East winds 20 to 25 knots. Wind waves 6 to
9 feet. Swell northeast 4 feet. Isolated showers.
.WEDNESDAY...Northeast winds 20 to 30 knots. Wind waves 5 to
10 feet. Swell northeast 4 feet. Isolated showers.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 5 to
9 feet. Swell northeast 4 feet. Scattered showers.
