...Flood Potential Appears Minimal Across the Treasure Valley...

An active weather pattern will bring significant moisture to the
Treasure Valley through Thursday. Forecast trends indicate lesser
amounts of the precipitation falling as rain through the duration
of the storm. Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing,
but a dramatic warmup is not expected, so melting of the snowpack
across the Treasure Valley will be limited. Thus, the flood threat
due to rain and snowmelt in the Treasure Valley appears minimal.
Impacts from rainfall and snowmelt that do occur will likely
consist of standing water along some city streets and highways
where snow and ice may be clogging street gutters and storm
drains.
