...HIGH FLOWS AND MINOR FLOODING ON RIVERS...CREEKS...AND STREAMS
THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK...

Streams and rivers are continuing to respond to recent high
elevation snowmelt. This has led to minor flooding in portions of
the west-central Idaho mountains with many other streams and rivers
near bankfull. There has also been a response along mainstem rivers,
including the Payette River which has gone into minor flood near
Emmett.

With well above normal temperatures expected by mid-week, continued
snowmelt will further increase stream flows in the mountains.
Residents living in these areas should monitor river and stream
conditions and be alert for rising water and potential flooding.
