...More Rains on the way; Minor Flooding Problems possible this
Weekend...

The busy and wet pattern continues, with light rains spreading
into the Southern Appalachians and upper Tennessee Valley today,
and light to moderate rains for much of the day on Saturday. Rains
today are expected to stay below a half inch, but Saturday more
persistent rains are expected with some areas getting more than an
inch of rain on already saturated grounds.

Saturday there could be localized flooding of lowlands, as well as
rising creeks and rivers. The rains should taper off Saturday
night, with mostly dry conditions expected on Sunday. However, the
rains from Saturday will continue to drain into rivers, and some
rivers could continue to rise through much of the day on Sunday.

We will continue to monitor this situation and will send
updated information as it becomes available.
