River levels have fallen below caution stage at the Tallapoosa Water
Plant and a continued fall is expected for the next few days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.  Turn Around...Don`t Drown.

This will be the last statement issued for this event.

Forecast information for
  Tallapoosa River At The Tallapoosa Water Plant.
* AT  8:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 14.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 25 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 12.8 feet this afternoon.
* Impact...At 15 feet...Low areas near the junction with the Coosa
  River begin to overflow.
