...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTY...

AT 728 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED PERSISTENT HEAVY RAIN OVER
NORTHERN...MAINLY RURAL...WAYNE COUNTY...WHICH WILL CAUSE MINOR
FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN
BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAY ONE SEVENTEEN AND BEAR CREEK ROAD...NORTH OF
FREMONT AND EUREKA...NEAR THE WILSON COUNTY BORDER.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
FREMONT...PIKEVILLE...EUREKA AND NAHUNTA.

WHILE RADAR TRENDS INDICATE THE RAINFALL RATES HAVE DECREASED DURING
THE PAST HALF HOUR...UP TO AN ADDITIONAL HALF INCH OF RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE ON THE ALREADY SATURATED SOIL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
