THE THERMAL TROUGH CONTINUES TO RESIDE OVER SOUTHWEST ALASKA AIDING
IN KEEPING THE ATMOSPHERE UNSTABLE...DIURNAL HEATING WILL PRODUCE
ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED WET THUNDERSTORMS. THE MAIN AREA OF
DEVELOPMENT OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE OVER THE KILBUCK...AHKLUN AND
THE KUSKOKWIM MOUNTAINS. THERE WILL BE SOME ACTIVITY ALSO DEVELOPING
ALONG THE ALASKA RANGE. THE AFOREMENTIONED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.
BY WEDNESDAY...THE ATMOSPHERE WILL BECOME MORE STABLE AS THE WINDS
SHIFT TO ONSHORE FLOW AND BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES ACCOMPANIED BY
MARINE LAYER STRATUS AND FOG.
