.DISCUSSION...AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL SINK INTO THE REGION
LATER TODAY INTO SATURDAY. THE ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED
TO PASS ACROSS THE MIDLANDS DURING THE EVENING HOURS. COLDER AIR
BEHIND THIS FRONT WILL LOWER TEMPERATURES 10 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL FOR SATURDAY.

EXPECT STRONG WINDS ON SATURDAY. TRANSPORT WINDS FROM 35 TO 40
MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH GUSTS AT THE SURFACE OF 30 TO 35 MPH. THERE
WILL BE A CHANCE OF SHOWERS ACROSS THE MIDLANDS AND CENTRAL
SAVANNAH RIVER AREA. THE BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL BE ACROSS THE
NORTHERN MIDLANDS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTH
CAROLINA BORDER.
