Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
223 PM EST Wed Feb 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A weak low pressure system will continue pushing across Florida
overnight...with high pressure along the East Coast building in
it`s wake. This pattern will provide moist onshore flow across the
region. Poor dispersion tonight with patchy fog possible Thursday
morning.

Thursday...dry air aloft will reduce chances of afternoon showers
as an upper level ridge builds in from the west. Surface winds will
generally be light and variable, favoring E-SE direction. Transport
winds will be E-ESE at around 10 mph...highest in the W. Midlands
and CSRA. Minimum RH values will drop to slightly below 50 percent.
