.DISCUSSION...TODAY WILL BE HOT AND RATHER HUMID AS WARM MOIST AIR
CONTINUES TO MOVE INTO THE REGION ON SOUTHERLY WINDS IN ADVANCE OF A
WEAKENING APPROACHING COLD FRONT. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AHEAD OF THE
WEAK BOUNDARY. SHOWERS AND STORMS SHOULD GRADUALLY INCREASE IN
COVERAGE TONIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES THROUGH THE
OHIO VALLEY. CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL CONTINUE FROM MONDAY
INTO TUESDAY EVENING AS A STRONGER COLD FRONT AND ASSOCIATED UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES AND MOVES ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY.
