.DISCUSSION...
A very active weather week is underway. An upper level trough
moving across the area this afternoon will continue to produce isolated
to scattered showers and thunderstorms with the majority of this activity
occurring over central Louisiana. The trough slides to the east tonight
giving way to mostly dry conditions Tuesday.

A cold front approaches the area by Wednesday bringing with it scattered
showers and thunderstorms some of which could be strong to severe. The
front will move through early Thursday turning winds out of the north
and ushering in some drier air, but very little in the way of cooler air.
Rain chances return for the weekend where a heavy rain event will be possible.
