.DISCUSSION...

Temperatures will heat up to well above normal Thursday and Friday
then cool off to closer to normal values for the weekend. There is a
chance of storms for this afternoon and evening across portions of
the area. Near critical fire weather conditions will be present on
Thursday across the Guadalupe Mountains with minimum relative
humidity values below 15 percent and winds around 20 mph. Conditions
are expected to improve on Friday with lower wind speeds.
