FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
150 PM CDT TUE SEP 30 2014

.DISCUSSION...
UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL MOVE SLOWLY EAST ACROSS THE MID STATE
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. WARM AND DRY WEATHER WILL BE THE RESULT BUT
WIND SPEEDS WILL BE ON THE LIGHT SIDE.

IN THE EXTENDED FCST...THE NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN WILL BE THURSDAY
NIGHT AND FRIDAY AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS THE AREA. WITH
THAT SYSTEM...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...A FEW
COULD BE STRONG. OTHERWISE...A GOOD INCH OR SO OF RAINFALL WILL
BE POSSIBLE. COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL FOLLOW.
