Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
525 AM MST Sun Mar 26 2017

...EARLY WEEK STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES ACROSS THE
DISTRICTS...

.DISCUSSION...
The districts will fall between weather systems today, with
generally light winds following typical diurnal and drainage
trends. Daytime humidities will dry in the 15-25 percent range
with overnight percentages recovering into the 50s to upper 60s.
Under mostly sunny skies with some thin cirrus moving through the
area, temperatures will warm close to late March averages.

Another Pacific weather system will sweep into the area beginning
Monday, generating gusty wind conditions by Monday afternoon with
the strongest gusts over the southeast CA and Colorado River
Valley locales. Pockets of elevated fire danger and critical fire
weather conditions may be realized Monday and more so into Tuesday
when strong winds continue as dry air transitions into the area.

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
