Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
334 PM MDT Wed Aug 23 2017

.Discussion...

The best chance for thunderstorms for the next several days
will be Thursday as residual monsoon moisture and weak
disturbances move across the area. A drier weather pattern
begins on Friday through early next week, though there
will still be sufficient moisture for at least isolated
thunderstorms each day. Temperatures will be near normal,
though a cold front will bring a slight cool down by late
weekend into early next week. This front may also bring
a slight increase in thunderstorm coverage to the
southeast mountains and plains during this same period.

Afternoon smoke dispersal will reach good or better levels
at most locations on Thursday, then fall back into the
fair to good range on Friday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
