FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
1041 AM EDT FRI APR 18 2014

.DISCUSSION...
DRY WEATHER WITH WARM AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY.
A WEAK MOISTURE STARVED COLD FRONT WILL THEN PUSH INTO THE REGION
THIS EVENING BEFORE DISSIPATING. MOISTURE IS LIMITED WITH THIS
FRONT...SO ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS IS POSSIBLE IN SOUTHEAST
OHIO...WITH DRY WEATHER EXPECTED ELSEWHERE.

A SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM SHOULD BE ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST INTO
SATURDAY...BEFORE SLOWLY MOVING OUT TO SEA BY MONDAY. THE RAIN
ASSOCIATED WITH THAT STORM IS EXPECTED TO STAY TO OUR SOUTHEAST. AS
A RESULT...A DRY AND TRANQUIL EASTER WEEKEND IS CURRENTLY IN THE
FORECAST.

MONDAY WILL FEATURE RATHER WARM TEMPERATURES AHEAD OF THE NEXT COLD
FRONT. THAT FRONT LOOKS TO CROSS ON TUESDAY WITH SHOWERS...WITH
POSSIBLY THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS.
