FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...EAST TEXAS...AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHREVEPORT LA
502 AM CST SAT FEB 6 2016

.DISCUSSION...
AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN WILL REMAIN CONTAINED MOSTLY WITHIN NORTHEAST TEXAS
THROUGH MIDDAY BEFORE ENDING...WITH FAIRLY INSIGNIFICANT RAINFALL TOTALS.
FURTHER EAST ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN LOUISIANA AND SOUTHERN ARKANSAS...
AFERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL TO BETWEEN 35 TO 40 PERCENT WITH
LIMITED CLOUD COVER. LIGHT WINDS WILL PREVAIL THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH
AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES BETWEEN 35 AND 45 PERCENT ON SUNDAY.
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH
AND AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES FALLING TO BETWEEN 25 TO 35 PERCENT
ON MONDAY...AND AGAIN ON TUESDAY...WITH NORTHWEST WINDS PICKING BACK UP
TO 10 TO 15 MPH. THE RESULTING ENHANCED FIRE RISKS EARLY NEXT WEEK AS
SOUTHERLY WINDS BRING ABOUT A WARMING TREND AND MODERATING HUMIDITIES

IS EXPECTED...INCLUDING MOST OF THE UPCOMING WEEKEND WITH RAIN CHANCES
BEGINNING TO INCREASE BY LATE IN THE WEEKEND.
