Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
402 PM CDT Fri Sep 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Under the influence of high pressure on the surface and aloft
expecting cloud cover to decrease overnight with light and
variable to light Southeast winds. These conditions along with
low level moisture, will forecast patchy fog late tonight and into
the early morning hours Saturday before mixing out. Could also see
some low clouds. Still have small chance of showers and thunderstorms
during the afternoon. An upper level low pressure system will be
drifting West across the Gulf of Mexico and into the Four State
Region during the later part of the weekend and will provide
chances for showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast sections.
That low will start to lift to the Northeast away from the area
during the first part of next work week with a cold front
possible by mid to late week with increasing chances for rain and
cooler temperatures for late week.
