...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CIRCULATING NEAR THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
COAST WILL PULL MOISTURE ACROSS SOUTHERN NEVADA AND NORTHWEST
ARIZONA TODAY LEADING TO SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. THE SYSTEM WILL LIFT AWAY TO THE NORTHEAST BY LATE
SUNDAY FOLLOWED BY DRY CONDITIONS AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES
THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A TROUGH MOVING THROUGH CENTRAL TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL CONTINUE
TO BRING COOLER WEATHER AND NIGHT AND MORNING STRATUS INTO THE
COAST/VALLEY SECTIONS THROUGH SUNDAY. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY FORM
OVER THE MOUNTAINS SATURDAY AFTERNOON DUE TO A POSSIBLE INCREASE IN
MOISTURE AND THE APPROACH OF THE LOW PRESSURE TROUGH. A WARMING
TREND AND SHALLOWER MARINE LAYER IS EXPECTED FOR MONDAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT STRENGTHENS. THEN ANOTHER TROUGH
MAY BRING COOLER WEATHER WITH A DEEPER MARINE LAYER AND INCREASING
ONSHORE FLOW.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

EXPECT SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES TO EXPAND TO THE LOWER
ELEVATIONS TODAY...INCLUDING PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA. BEST
CHANCES REMAIN OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA.
HUMIDITIES AND STORM CHANCES TREND DOWNWARD SUNDAY. ANTICIPATE
SIMILAR WIND PATTERNS TODAY WITH SOMEWHAT STRONGER SOUTHERLY WINDS
OVER THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY...LESS SO SUNDAY.
