...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS EXPECTED AGAIN TODAY ACROSS THE REGION.
STRONGEST WINDS WILL REMAIN DOWN THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY WHERE A
RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN PLACE THROUGH THIS EVENING. DRY
CONDITIONS ALONG WITH LIGHTER WINDS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY AND EARLY
NEXT WEEK. A SIGNIFICANT WARMING TREND IS ALSO EXPECTED DURING THE
UPCOMING WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL BRING STRONG GUSTY
SANTA ANA WINDS NEAR AND ALONG THE COASTAL SLOPES OF THE MOUNTAINS
FOR THIS MORNING. THE OFFSHORE FLOW AND HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT OFF THE
WEST COAST WILL BRING MUCH WARMER HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR COASTAL AND
WESTERN VALLEY AREAS TODAY. WEAK ONSHORE FLOW WILL RETURN ON SUNDAY
WITH THE MARINE LAYER RETURNING AND SLOWLY DEEPENING NEXT WEEK WITH
COOLING AND HIGHER HUMIDITIES SPREADING INLAND. THE ONSHORE FLOW
WILL BRING PERIODS OF STRONG GUSTY WESRT WINDS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS WITH STRONGEST WINDS AND GREATEST INLAND COOLING NEAR THE
END OF THE WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

ELEVATED WINDS WILL CONTINUE TODAY BUT UNDER THE SPEEDS OBSERVED ON
FRIDAY FOR MOST DISTRICTS. STRONGEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE FOR THE
COLORADO RIVER VALLEY WITH DAYTIME GUSTS 30 TO 40 MPH. SINGLE-DIGIT
HUMIDITIES WILL BE COMMON ACROSS THE LOWER DESERT ELEVATIONS WITH
FAIR OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES. CRITICAL CONDITIONS REDEVELOP FOR THE
LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY TODAY DUE TO THE ELEVATED WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITIES. CONSIDERABLY LIGHTER WINDS FOR SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA.
