.DISCUSSION...

Cool northeasterly flow will continue today as temperatures
struggle to reach 50 degrees. Increased moisture and a few showers
may reach the Missouri River, but should not reach any further
north than Highway 18. Stronger northeast winds arrive for Saturday
ahead of an incoming storm system. By Sunday and Monday, widespread
rains are anticipated. Rainfall amounts may be greater than 1 inch
in many locations with a risk for accumulating snow Sunday night
and Monday morning. The fire danger risk will be minimal into next
week.
