.DISCUSSION...

A boundary will remain nearly stationary to our southwest through
this evening. A weak disturbance will track along the boundary later this
morning. This will bring scattered to perhaps numerous showers
around late morning into this afternoon. The probability for
thunder is very low since the boundary will be well to the south of the
event location. Primary threats through this afternoon will be locally
heavy rainfall.

A stronger disturbance will track along the stalled boundary tonight, bringing
a better chance for showers and perhaps even a thunderstorm. The best chance
for a storm will be after 8 or 9 PM. Once again the main threat for severe
weather will remain south of the event location (i.e central and eastern VA).
Primary threats for any heavy shower or thunderstorm activity this evening will
be locally gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

More showers are likely for Friday as another wave of low pressure tracks
along the boundary. Friday will be unseasonably cool with temps in
the upper 50s and low 60s as well.
