This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Expect scattered thunderstorms tonight. The main threats are
lightning and hail up to nickel size.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Thunderstorms are expected Tuesday through Tuesday evening.
Severe thunderstorms are possible. The highest threat is along and
south of Interstate 80. The main severe weather threat is hail up
to golfball size. The secondary threat is isolated wind gusts
around 60 mph.

Rain will change to a wintry mixture of rain and snow or all wet
snow Wednesday morning from west to east. Minor snow
accumulations may occur mainly north of I80 and on elevated and
grassy surfaces by early Wednesday afternoon. This may produce
localized slick spots and reduced visibilties where the snow is
falling.
