CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES FROM 100 TO 103 ARE LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS ALL
OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AS WELL AS MOST OF SOUTH-CENTRAL AND PART OF
CENTRAL KANSAS.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS THAT MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND WINDS AROUND 50
MPH ARE POSSIBLE OVER PRIMARILY CENTRAL KANSAS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING PRIMARILY OVER NORTHWEST KANSAS ON FRIDAY
AFTERNOON WILL MOVE EAST REACHING CENTRAL KANSAS FRIDAY EVENING. A
FEW OF THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE PENNY-SIZED HAIL AND 50 TO 55
MPH WINDS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FROM SATURDAY NIGHT THRU NEXT WEDNESDAY.
THE GREATEST RISK FOR THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD OCCUR SUNDAY AND MONDAY
FROM LATE IN THE AFTERNOON THRU LATE IN THE EVENING ON BOTH DAYS.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY OVER CENTRAL KANSAS
WHERE HAIL AROUND QUARTER-SIZED AND 60 TO 70 MPH WINDS MAY OCCUR.

HEAT INDICES AROUND 100 ARE POSSIBLE IN LINCOLN AND SALINE COUNTIES
