This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Gale Warning is in effect for the Chesapeake Bay from Sandy
Point MD to Smith Point VA, the Tangier Sound, and the lower tidal
Potomac River from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A Gale Warning is in effect Friday for the Chesapeake Bay and
adjoining estuaries north of Drum Point MD, and the middle and
upper tidal Potomac River from Key Bridge to Cobb Island MD.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Strong wind gusts may result in isolated instances of wind damage,
especially at higher elevations Friday.

Elevated fire danger is possible for portions of the area west of
the Blue Ridge on Friday given the combination of low relative
humidity and gusty winds.

counties in western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and Highland
County Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Wind Advisory is in effect starting at 4 AM for Grant, Highland,
and Pendleton Counties.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The Wind Advisory continues until 8 PM Friday. Strong wind gusts
may result in isolated instances of wind damage outside the
advisory, especially at higher elevations.

Elevated fire danger is possible on Friday given the combination
of low relative humidity and gusty winds.
