SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXPAND OVER EAST CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON HOURS.  RAINFALL
AMOUNTS WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE BETWEEN ONE HALF AND ONE INCH PER
HOUR. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL BE FOUND FROM NEAR MILNESAND...
NORTHWARD TO PORTALES...CLOVIS AND RANCHVALE.  ADDITIONAL STORM
ACTIVITY WILL DEVELOP BETWEEN SANTA ROSA AND TUCUMCARI...WHILE A
FEW SPRINKLES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS LINCOLN AND CHAVES COUNTIES.
AREAS THAT RECEIVE HEAVY RAINFALL MAY SEE PONDING OF WATER ON
ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY IN LOW SPOTS OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON.
