AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD DURING THE EVENING. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL BE FROM I-55
WEST WHERE A HALF TO 1 INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE BY MIDNIGHT WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ALONG AND WEST OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER. THIS
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL CLOUD LEAD TO FLOODING TONIGHT ESPECIALLY IN
LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
