.NOW...

At 1140 PM CDT/1040 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
from near O`neill to 7 miles south of Valentine National Wildlife
Refuge to 12 miles southwest of Curtis, moving east at 30 mph.

Tonight...1/4 to 1 inch of additional rainfall is expected as the
thunderstorms move east and affect North Central Nebraska.

This rain was associated with an upper level disturbance across
COlorado, a cold front moving south through Nebraska and humid
conditions. Locally heavy rainfall may develop in some areas and
this is most likely across areas east of highway 83.

Locations impacted include...
O`neill, Broken Bow, Ainsworth, Burwell, Bassett, Mullen, Spencer,
Stapleton, Taylor, Thedford, Brewster, Atkinson, Arnold, Stuart,
Callaway, Sargent, Ansley, Ewing and Merna.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 73 and 202.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 226 and 328.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 132 and 216.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 176 and 307.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 222 and 308.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 56 and 99, and near mile marker
103.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 106 and 187.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 114 and 135.
