Through the afternoon hours, isolated to scattered showers and
may be a thunderstorm will continue to develop over the Atlantic
waters and move south southwest into the east coast metro areas
and the interior areas of South Florida. Any storms that do move
through the area will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 40
mph, lightning strikes, and locally heavy rainfall. If you see
lightning or hear thunder move inside until the storms have passed
by. Mariners can also expect higher seas in and near the showers
and thunderstorms.
